May Watchlist

We're all staying up to date with the news and reading some interesting articles about how to stay safe and stay informed. But this is not related to that, at all. This is a rundown on what we're reading, watching and listening to, to keep our minds and bodies healthy and moving, and a little bit sane!  We'll share some more resources as we come across them. Here's how we're currently winding down.

READ

Meditations by Marcus Aurelius - Marcus Aurelius was a Roman Emperor and this is a collection of writing on Stoic Philosophy. It's an incredibly interesting read. And quite short too!

Wild at Home by Hilton Carter - We stumbled upon this guys Instagram page and instantly loved his style an just couldn't resist picking up his book. It's full of really practical tips on growing plants at home and it's beautiful to just pick up and browse through.

WATCH

One World: Together at Home - If you didn't hear about this on the news or see it already, Lady Gaga basically pulled in all her favours and gathered a load of musicians together (virtually) to perform from their houses. They raised $127.9 million for the WHO. The Rolling Stones in their 4 separate houses might have been the best part. You can watch all the performances on their YouTube Channel here

Good News - John Krazinski's daily Good News Report is just lovely. As they say in Ireland, you'd want to be made o'stone!

LISTEN

I Weigh Podcast - Presented by Jameela Jamil, you may know her as Tahani on The Good Place. It's part of Jameela's 'I Weigh' community which at its roots it's about feeling part of something. It's available on all the usual podcast platforms.

Michael Jackons X Mark Ronson - It's just one song, but we defy you not to move during it! We put together a playlist of the original songs he mixed that's bookended by the remix. It's on our Spotify, enjoy.

FREE RESOURCES
