A walk in the Garden of Ireland
I grew up spending summers playing in the river and getting up to general mischief and mayhem in a little village in Wicklow. Twenty minutes in the car and you can be on a snow tipped mountain, the depths of a lush forrest or the shores of a thick black lake.
Just a quick drive and you can visit the beautiful Glendalough National Park. It's breathtaking in every season and definitely worth a visit if you're ever in this part of the world. Here's a few photos:
